My goodness, is it really DECEMBER?? Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess. 2016 has absolutely flown by. This time of year is certainly one of reflection and gratitude and my list is very long this year.
A lot has happened at Amy Holton Designs this year…and I mean a lot! I feel like I’ve scarcely been able to come up for air but it’s been such a great ride. While I’ve always said that I don’t want a brick and mortar store (not right now anyway), I might have leased a little bit of property in Atlanta this year! No, I’m not cheating on Texas. Of course, my first proper retail outlet would be in Austin! However, throughout the year I’ve been working with our contractor and my two “roommates” planning and decorating a new wholesale showroom at AmericasMart in Atlanta. I share our lease with gown designer, Fernando Wong, and a special occasion jewelry designer, Stefanie Somers. It’s been a lot of work and a whole new world but I’m so proud of it and as it is a season of thanks and appreciation, couldn’t think of a better time to share it with you. After all, I’m very mindful of how Amy Holton Designs has grown and remember very clearly a time that I couldn’t have managed all of this…and I certainly couldn’t have without the support of all of you….my friends, family, followers and fans. So, here’s a few photos of my new little home-away-from-home in Atlanta, Georgia.
So, yes…it’s been a big year and I’m so happy to finally share this with you all! There’s so much more to come. I have big ideas for 2017. Watch this space…
Thanks to you all for making it a possibility.
With much gratitude,
